Westminster Abbey is one of those iconic places everyone visits when they are in London.
Westminster Abbey is beautiful on the outside and on the inside and it’s full history and lots and lots of dead people. It also has lots and lots of live people all looking at the same dead people you are trying to look at. Thankfully there are no pictures allowed in the Abbey so that does make things bit more sane.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s worth the wait (get tickets online in advance to avoid the huge line) but be prepared for a crowd. A nice G&T before is highly recommended.
