Our waitress, Miaranna, gave us each one of these when we visited The American Bar at the Savoy.   It was originally made to honor the first walk on the moon.


  • 1 oz grapefruit juice
  • 1 oz orange liqueur like Grand Marnier (I like Bauchant)
  • 2 drops rose water
  • 2 oz Champagne

Combine the grapefruit juice, orange liqueur and rose water, strain into a coupe, top with Champagne.  This is worth breaking out the fancy glasses and top shelf ingredients.
