Easily one of my favorite places to visit when we’re in Pinehurst. I’ve been going for more than 10 years and will always go back when in town. The bar staff is super friendly, the atmosphere is great and then there’s the chipping green in the lobby. How many in a row can you get…? How many can you get after a drink or two?
It’s a guy hotel, not a romantic getaway of any sort but sometimes that’s just what you are looking for. They’ve upgraded over the years but when I first went in the late 90’s the towels were marked PCI with a Sharpie, the art was crooked and…who cares, it’s all about the crowd downstairs and the cat outside anyway.
