We met Mary & Ken one evening for a late dinner. Â We ended up with a mix of little plates, drinks and dessert. Â
We had:
- Beets – beet greens / whipped goat cheese / pickled fennel / orangeÂ
- Baked Camembert – phyllo / apple / olive oil / rosemary / grilled bread
- Tortallacci – apple bourbon butter / oxtail / pecorino / pickled apples
- Apple Brown Betty -Â oat streusel topping / double vanilla ice cream
- (Another dessert I forgot)
- A few very well made cocktails
Everything, drinks, food and dessert was very good. Â Very different from their sister restaurant, Meat & Potatoes. Â Different decor, roomier and a bit more comfy. Â We had a table in the back corner of the downstairs…not much for people watching but good for conversations.
