So we ended up here because we had dinner at their sister restaurant, avec, and the chef there recommended that we try desert and drinks here.
What a great recommendation. We sat at the bar and had two desserts:
- burnt artichoke parfait with blackberries, black cinnamon crisps, candied pine nuts
- prairie fruits farm ‘black goat’ goats milk with caramelized figs, black olives, spring onion
Along with that we asked the bartender, Mary Grace, to mix up a few drinks for us. She made two wonderful cocktails for us including on that had artichoke bitters to go along with the first dessert choice. Just like aver, the folks here we wonderful. Great interior, better bar and even better bartender. All in all, a great food night for sure.. We never got to go back thanks to stupid COVID-19.
