- 1 750ml bottle Merlot (such as Gallo Family Vineyards)
- ¼ cup brandy or apple brandy
- 8 ounces 100% pomegranate juice
- 2 apples, cored and cubed
- arils from 1 pomegranate
- In a large pitcher combine the merlot, brandy, pomegranate juice, cubed apples and pomegranate arils.
- Stir to combine.
- Refrigerate at least 2 hours until chilled or overnight to let the wine soak into the fruit.
