Poison Apple Pomegranate Sangria

Ingredients

  • 1 750ml bottle Merlot (such as Gallo Family Vineyards) 
  • ¼ cup brandy or apple brandy 
  • 8 ounces 100% pomegranate juice 
  • 2 apples, cored and cubed 
  • arils from 1 pomegranate

Instructions

  1. In a large pitcher combine the merlot, brandy, pomegranate juice, cubed apples and pomegranate arils. 
  2. Stir to combine. 
  3. Refrigerate at least 2 hours until chilled or overnight to let the wine soak into the fruit.
