From the website “Conflict Kitchen is a restaurant that only serves cuisine from countries with which the United States is in conflict. Each Conflict Kitchen iteration is augmented by events, performances, publications, and discussions that seek to expand the engagement the public has with the culture, politics, and issues at stake within the focus region. The restaurant rotates identities in relation to current geopolitical events.”
While they have a political message and purpose they get there by making and serving some very well made food. The people that work at Conflict Kitchen are friendly and happy to help explain what the food is and what it’s about.
Food is excellent. Go on a nice day and grab a table in the park, sit down to eat and watch the clouds go by.
