This is obviously a popular place – we happen to be here for an event sponsored by McGraw Hill. It’s the crowd that makes these events fun.
An event sponsored by AASA of PA. It had beer (obviously) and some snacks. Excellent view and outdoor space.
We used the ferry to get from downtown to Coronado Island…it’s a boat and it gets you across the bay. Nothing fancy at all but it’s quick and on time.
If you go, be prepared to walk…a lot. The zoo is huge and you’ll want to see it all as the landscaping is wonderful everywhere you go.

We stopped in for lunch on a walk over to the Hotel del Coronado. It’s French, they have spritzes and cheese, what else do you need?
