Ghent is a city and a municipality in the East Flanders province of the Flemish Region of Belgium. It is the capital and largest city of the province and the third largest in the country, after Brussels and Antwerp. It is a port and university city.
Gent or Ghent? Gent is the Dutch and Flemish spelling, Ghent is English and Gand is French.

Why do US trains suck so much? We do have beautiful stations here and there but the actual train part of the journey isn’t great.

A beautiful church but the star of the show here is the Ghent Altarpiece, a stunning artwork kept in glass in the church.
Nice little coffee shop not far off the path in Gent.
