We were able to visit the The Major Richard Winters statue on our trip to Normandy in 2024 so I followed up on that with a visit to his very humble grave site in Ephrata, PA. Some people in our goverment (as of 2025) could learn humility and how to be actual leaders by reading about Major Winter’s life and then visiting his grave site. Some people need big and grandiose, some let their life do the talking. Take time and read Conversations with Major Dick Winters and Beyond Band of Brothers.
I’d add MAJ Winters to my badass list but I feel that it would not be fair to everyone, especially this guy, that servedin the war.
