The Louvre, or the Louvre Museum, is a national art museum in Paris, France, and one of the most famous museums in the world.
Some say to steer clear of the Louvre because of massive crowds and whatnot. I love visiting for that very reason. Yes, it can be crowded but that is part of the fun of it. Is people watching much different that looking at art?
Yes, you have to go see the scrums at the Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo and the Coronation of Napoleon but, walking up the steps to see The Winged Victory of Samothrace is such a great view and talking the walk downstairs into the quite room where Mary Magdalene sits is a nice break from the crowd.
