We like Farm to Table dinners, especially when they are in neat places and you cannot get much neater than at a Frank Lloyd Wright designed house.
We took a break from work, checked into Nemacolin for a few days and enjoyed a very nice dinner at Kentucky Knob. It was a BYOB, which we really like, and we had perfect weather for dinner.
It all started with a tour of the house then back to the visitor’s center for a little talk and then dinner from the folks at Fish Hawk Acres farm in WV. Everything we had was local and most things had been picked that day (minus the chicken and bread). Dinner was fantastic and the company was loads of fun. We met a couple visiting from Minnesota and we got to sit next to our Farm Dinner friend Victoria from Table Magazine.
If you get the chance make sure to go to this, or dinners like this. They have been loads of fun and we always end up meeting neat people while we eat.
