This is not what you would expect for a coffee shop embedded in an office building, especially a goverment office building.

Located on the 2nd floor of the Cannon building, this is a gem. Yes, you have to go through security (belt off, etc…) but it’s well worth it.
I went after 1:00 on a Friday when congress was not in session so little to no activity in the building. There was still a little crowd, but I was able to secure a seat and have a very nice ATM espresso from People Possession. They made it using a Better Vessel, a first for me.
