This deserves a post of its own.
We typically find a local coffee shop for breakfast (apparently all I need is an espresso and 1/2 a croissant for the day) but our hotel had breakfast and that breakfast happened to be at the end of the hall on our floor so…we stopped the first day for breakfast.
Then we proceeded to have breakfast there each morning during our stay.
The room was beautiful, the food was fantastic and the service was stellar.
(Note on service – this is what you get when people are actually paid a fair wage for their work)
– The cheese selection was outstanding
– The fresh honeycomb in the brass honeycomb holder thingy? Yes and thank you very much!
– The serve yourself coffee was actually good (not great but good)
– Make your own crepes!
– All the fresh cut flowers
